The Sky Crawlers trailer

Put that grainy YouTube version out of your mind, a much improved version of the full theatrical trailer for Mamoru Oshii’s Sky Crawlers has arrived. If you’re arriving to the party late, Sky Crawlers is the latest animated feature from the hugely acclaimed director of the Ghost in the Shell films and is a project with which Oshii has vowed to push his trademark philosophical concerns a bit more in the background to focus on simply telling an engaging story. It’s still clearly Oshii but this looks to be a much more audience-friendly Oshii and I’ve got no complaints there at all.
