It’s A Kaiju Battling Robot In G

ROBOT GIGANTE!!!!!

While the camera work leaves a good bit to be desired you’ve got to give the creators of upcoming kaiju flick G full marks for creativity and enthusiasm. Details are sketchy but this is either a very low budget independent production or some sort of Japanese fan film but what we’ve got is a full on city stomping man in suit monster - and a very well designed one, at that - battling it out with a giant steam driven robot. It looks like it was shot on a low grade consumer handy cam, which is very disappointing because the effects and action sequences are excellent - these guys clearly know what they’re doing when it comes to editing and post production. The end result is something with some bumps and warts but something that looks mighty entertaining nonetheless. You’ll find a pair of trailers below the break.
