The American remake of Funny games, and the infamous remote control scene.

A lot of people don't understand this scene. They did this whole rewind thing for a reason. I think nomore187 said it best with his comment:

"you people really need to think deeper. the "magical" remote was put in the movie to fool you into thinking the family was going to get some justice. It was made to toy with the audiance who normally feels compassion for the victims in some cases and hopes they get away. the remote was simple to rewind shit and be a basic fuck you to the audiance and nothing is going to really happen like you hoped. good vs evil. its a brilliant move. evil always wins. basically. nothing happens as it should."
