Synopsis:
The Denver Ghostbusters have returned. More than two years have passed since the events depicted in Freddy VS Ghostbusters. Business is booming, and the 'busters are becoming town celebrities. Leaps in new ghostbusting technology promises to bring more efficiency to the hunt, as branches of the franchise have popped up around the globe.

Recently, the famous archaeologist Dr. Klaus Constantin has discovered an artifact of great power in outside the ancient Egyptian city of Cynopolis. This artifact, known as the Amulet of Anubis is fabled to carry with it the very powers of Anubis himself--the most ancient guardian of the underworld. Constantin brings the talisman to Denver, where he hopes to use it to open a portal to the other side. Honestly, what harm has opening a portal to another dimension ever caused?

The mile high city is rocked when the paranormal eliminators face off against the forces of darkness in a battle for Earth's souls.

Después de las secuelas de Ghostbusters I y II llegará a nuestras pantallas de cine la III parte Ghostbusters in Hell The Return.

Harold Ramis quiere dirigir el nuevo guión que Dan Aykroyd ha escrito y que lleva por tí­tulo Ghostbusters in Hell (Los Cazafantasmas en el Infierno). En él los cazafantasmas se verán transportados a una dimensión paralela.

Lo más peculiar es que quiere a Ben Stiller como protagonista de la pelí­cula, junto al propio Aykroyd y a Rick Moranis. ¿Y Bill Murray? ¿se han olvidado de mencionarlo? ¿o será que ya no quiere aparecer en este tipo de comedias?

Los protagonistas de las dos sagas anteriores cederán el puesto a otro grupo. ¿sus propios hijos quizá?
